Our village shop has had a long history and is now owned by the North Nibley Village Shop Association Limited for the benefit of the village.
After a short closure following a period of letting it to tenants, it has benefitted from a major refurbishment involving many hundreds of volunteer hours, much effort from local businesses, and great generosity from individuals and organisations. It re-opened on 24th October 2019, trading as the North Nibley Community Hub.
The focus now is on providing a hub for the community. As such it now incorporates a coffee shop run by Tarragon and a volunteer run shop selling daily essentials and providing other services such as an information point and internet café. We have fibre broadband with free wifi and a laptop available for use by those that need it. It aims to develop in line with the wishes of the community.
The initial opening hours are 9-4.30 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with the coffee shop closing at 4pm.
